I've Been Throwing Up...Give Me a Break

Alright...I apologize for my lack of blogging for the past 2 months. Since Blogger likes to put pictures in the wrong order, all of the pictures go from most recent to not so recent.

If you don't know already, I'm pregnant! I'm 12 weeks along and because of weird stuff the dr. doesn't really know when I'm due so we'll just say somewhere around April 15th. I've been terribly sick and tired all the time so that explains no new posts.
Carter has grown up so much! He just had his 18 month appt. and he weighs 25.5 pounds (40%), is 35.5 inches tall (75%), and is head is 49 cm (78%). The dr. only had good things to say about him and his growth and development which is always a good thing to hear. He also let the dr. pick him up which is extremely rare but so great. He only cried when the nurse gave him his flu shot which was super sad this time because he could actually recognize where the pain was coming from and tell me ouch. I felt really bad.
Towards the beginning of September we spent a weekend with my family and attended Peach Days. We went to the 2 hour long parade, which Carter loved and sat in his stroller the entire time! It was great!
One day Mark was holding Carter just outside the bathroom door (probably while I was puking) and Carter threw this T and it landed just like this in the fan. It was incredible.
Back in August we flew out to Pennsylvania to visit Marks dad and step mom. We had such a great time seeing family. For the first time in YEARS all of Marks siblings, their spouses and children were there together. It was great. Grammy (the clown by profession) entertained Carter and Lydia by making balloon stuff...She's so talented and the kids were quite intrigued.
Here is a picture of all the grandkids together.
Carter loved spending time with his cousins Brisa and Katja
We went out for breakfast one day at THE biggest buffet place I have ever seen! It was humongous and pretty dang good too!
All the cousins enjoyed spending time outside playing with sidewalk chalk and dancing with their shadows on the car.
The adults got the chance to go crabbing while we were out there...it's a family tradition for the Schultzs' and because all the kids were there, they decided it would be so much fun to go together again.

Carter wasn't so sure about all the crabs we caught...
Pretty cool huh?!
This is Carter and Mark waiting for out connecting flight...it had been a long night, but they both did so well :)
Before our trip out east, me and Carter went to an awesome water park with my aunt and her kids. Carter loved being in the water and I loved all the fun water slides.
Clear back at the beginning of August, we said goodbye to our home. Mark's company closed the branch and transfered him.
Our nice friend Cory so so great and helped us move...I don't know what we would have done without him because I know I couldn't have lifted all that heavy stuff!

Turns out when you've been married for 2 1/2 years and have a child, you acquire lots of stuff and I assume it only gets worse...

Carter enjoyed the packing part...he mostly just took things out of the garbage and boxes to play with. (At least it kept him entertained :) )
No Juliet is not trying to eat Carter...she's giving him a hug. We tried really hard to get a good picture of them before we moved but this was the best we could do.
We also let them play together a lot since we knew it would be a while before they saw each other again.
Clear clear back in July, Nana and Paw Paw came out for graduation and stayed for a few weeks. It was so fun having them out here getting to know Carter better and letting Carter get to know them in person instead of just faces on the computer.

While they were here we went and fed the ducks...they were kind of lame ducks because they didn't eat our bread....
At least one person enjoyed it!

Oh Carter...

Viewer discretion is advised.

So after Carter gets a bath, we usually let him air dry (if ya know what I mean.) and we're usually paranoid that he's going to pee...well today something worse happened:

Picture Update

Luckily Mark has a phone that takes decent pictures and he has it with him all the time so we could get all of this great photos...

First, these pictures are proof that Carter LOVES dogs. He seriously cannot get enough of them. These were taken and my aunt and uncles over the Fourth of July.

Here is Aunt Chloe taking Carter for a ride in the Barbie convertible...I know it's not manly or anything but he loved riding in it. Don't you just love how is arm is resting on the side of the car? haha so funny.
Aunt Chloe, cousin Bethany (the owner of the car) and Carter.

Ok so Mark has been dying to let Carter's hair grow out and for some strange reason I agreed to it. I'm more of a short haired girl so it's been really hard for me to let his hair grow this long...but Mark said I could cut it before graduation and I am thrilled!

short post

I know it's been forever since I've blogged, but I've been super busy and I promise that as soon as I'm done with school I'll talk about the past month. But for now, here's a great picture of what Carter (and Juliet) are up to these days...
Sorry it's not the greatest quality, it was taken with Amy's phone.

The Reason I want Another One.

Carter is probably the second best thing that ever happened to me (first only to his daddy). He's fun, he's helpful, he's got a great laugh, he's smart, and he's adorable. Tomorrow he will be 15 months old and we went to his well baby check up yesterday. He weighs 22.9 pounds(28%) and is 32 inches tall(78%). The doctor said he's doing great and I agree.
At 15 months, Carter walks, says mama, mommy, daddy, ball (he says this anytime he sees anything round. It's great.), cookie(he says this for just about anything that he wants), hot dog, poopy, nana (that's his grandma) more, baby, bath, bu-bye, and nani (which we think means "I want"). He blows kisses, gives real kisses (with the smack and everything!), runs away from me, gives hugs (which he especially loves to do to his friend Juliet. He basically tackles her) He has become more of a picky eater, but not too terrible. Like he refuses to drink milk. I've tried giving him chocolate milk and strawberry milk and he still refuses. Crazy kid! He still does like a lot of other foods though...like last night, we brushed his teeth and put him down, me and Mark started talking then we looked over at Carter to find him eating chips straight out of the bag that one of us had left on the couch. It was so funny we couldn't help but laugh. He still loves the wii and never wants any help when he's racing. He also loves the tv show The Backyardigans. It's pretty annoying but he loves the theme song and dances to it every time it comes on. I mentioned earlier that he's helpful...seriously, I've never knew such a young kid could know so much. For example: our friend Amy will say Juliet are you stinky? And next thing we know, Carter is bringing out the diaper and wipes for Amy to change Juliet! He also helps me put the laundry in the dryer, sweep the floor, clean up his toys, and he'll brush his teeth all by himself! It's so cute. We really need to get it on video. Speaking of teeth, Carter has 2 teeth all the way in, 4 teeth almost all the way in and 2 molars on their way in. The other day I went into our room after Carter had fallen asleep and saw this:
He had put more shoes in the rack plus added some clothes. It was so adorable, just another "helpful" thing he did. We can't believe how fast he's growing up, but we're excited to see him continue to grow and develop properly. We're also excited that this means we're getting closer to possibly having another baby! Don't take this as an announcement, I'm just pretty baby hungry right now, since my other baby isn't really a baby anymore...

Here is a random picture of Carter lounging naked on his father. haha

Mothers Day and Sunshine.

Mothers Day was awesome. I got some beautiful flowers:
some nice coupons that will force Mark to spoil me, some candy, a gift card to Arby's, and a rolling pin! It was great. I also got 2 nice surprises from Carter while at church:
He pooped...more like exploded. TWICE. He went through two pairs of navy blue courds, 2 onesies, 2 pairs of socks, and one pair of shoes. I was in Relief Society and looked down to find a puddle of poop on the floor. I looked at Carter and he had poop on his shoe and the bottom of his pants. I Picked him up and rushed to the bathroom. Stripped him down and wiped him off. While I was doing this, Mark ran home and got him new pants, a onesie and some more socks. We got him all cleaned up and then I proceeded to clean up the poop puddle. I felt bad for all the freshly pregnant women in my ward who had to smell the stench while I clea
ned. It was probably horrendous for them. Luckily, I found some mango scented spray to help ease the nastiness. After Relief Society, we went to Sunday school. Carter and Juliet played and laughed and distracted almost everyone in the room. It was great. Then we went to Sacrament meeting. Carter did great...until we noticed him grunting.A few seconds later, the smell reached our noses. It was ten minutes before church got out so Mark decided that he would just take him out and we'd change him when we got home. About a minute later, I noticed Mark standing in the back waiting for me to look back. He was showing me that Carter had exploded again. Great. I ran to get wipes from Amy (because of course, it's the one Sunday we forgot ours). We went out and cleaned him up. This time he wasn't as lucky to get more socks, pants and a onesie. By the time I was done cleaning him up, we were just in time for the closing prayer.
Thursday it rained and we had fun riding the scooter, looking at worms and stealing tulips from our old yellow house's yard which they would soon demolish.
Friday I decided that I wouldn't go to class or my internship so I could spend the entire day with Carter. It was the best decision ever! Frida was beautiful and we spent almost the whole day outside. We went to the park and had a picnic for lunch, we were even lucky enough to enjoy it with daddy. Then we played on the playground for a little while before heading home for nap time. After nap time we invited Juliet to play with us outside in the sprinkler! The kids had so much fun!
Carter even got a little sun-kissed :)
